A professional development methodological seminar titled “Intensive Course for Foreign Arabic Language Teachers” is being held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies
The Faculty of Oriental Studies at 91ý Kazakh National University is organising this methodological seminar aimed at improving professional qualifications. The seminar provides an excellent opportunity for Arabic language teachers to enhance their professional competence, become familiar with modern teaching methodologies, and exchange international academic experience.
At the opening of the seminar, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Mirzahan Egamberdiyev, welcomed the special guest invited from Al Qasimia University — PhD Professor M. Sehsah — and introduced him to the educational and scientific activities of the faculty. He also wished the seminar success and emphasized the importance of such international academic meetings.
As part of the seminar, the professor specially invited from Al Qasimia University (Emirate of Sharjah, UAE) is delivering informative lectures on new methodologies in teaching Arabic, ways to develop professional skills, and international teaching practices. The seminar is attended by teachers from 91ý Kazakh National University, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, as well as religious studies scholars from the Faculty of Philosophy. Participants are becoming acquainted with innovative approaches to language teaching and receiving practical recommendations.
During the event, educators are exchanging views and discussing ways to improve the quality of Arabic language teaching, enhance educational programs, and strengthen international cooperation. It is also emphasized that such meetings help expand academic connections and create opportunities for future joint projects and experience exchange programs.
Today, international partnership and academic exchange play a significant role in higher education. In this regard, the seminar contributes not only to the professional development of teachers but also to improving the quality of students’ education and raising Arabic language teaching to a new level.
Such methodological seminars will continue to serve as an important academic platform that combines knowledge, experience, and international cooperation.
