KazNU students won the main prize at the international engineering competition
Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University performed brilliantly at the international festival "Future Engineers of the SCO", which was held in Tashkent. In a highly competitive environment, young university scientists not only adequately defended the honor of Kazakhstan, but also won the highest award of the prestigious tournament.
The festival was attended by representatives of 8 countries, who presented 22 ambitious startup projects to the jury.

The team of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, studying under the program "Robotic Systems", demonstrated a high level of training and creativity. Ramazan Nalibek, Madina Gabidenova, Meir Srailov and Ali Tynymbayev took the first place in the competition of innovations and startup projects. Their project, based on advanced engineering solutions, was recognized as innovative, future-oriented and fully ready for practical implementation.

In addition to the startup competition, KazNU students actively proved themselves in technical competitions. Darkhan Rafik, Rinat Musayev and Madi Tuleutayev competed with rivals in the drone Olympiad, and Daryn Nuraly represented the university in the Robotics Olympiad, showing high programming and design skills.
The scientific guidance and training of the winners was carried out by the senior lecturer of the Department of Mechanics, PhD Balzhan Akhmetova. Under her supervision, students have developed solutions that meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including areas such as quality education, industry development, and combating climate change.
Congratulations to the winners and their mentor!
