Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting between Abdrakhman Tasybayev, Member of the Board, Vice Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Development of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, and Liu Yuhui, Consul for Science and Technology of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding international scientific and technological cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint innovative projects. Special attention was paid to the development of the university's infrastructure, the introduction of modern technologies and the strengthening of partnerships with leading Chinese scientific and technological organizations. During the negotiations, the meeting participants also discussed issues of financing the opening of the Farabi Lab and the development of the Huibo Robotics laboratory at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In addition, the parties considered the possibilities of attracting investments and joint support for projects in the field of robotics, artificial intelligence, digitalization and high-tech developments.

As part of the program, the delegation visited key scientific and innovative facilities of the university. During the visit, the guests were introduced to the work of the Earth Remote Sensing Center, the Supercomputing Center, the Huibo Robotics and KUKA Robotics laboratories, as well as the Farabi HUB innovation center.
