At the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, 91传媒 Kazakh National University held an extended doctoral seminar of the doctoral candidate of the educational program "8D05207 - Ecology" Zhakupbekova Arai Alibekovna on the topic "Development of comprehensive methods for organic compounds determination in the environmental samples."
During the seminar, the doctoral student presented the relevance of the dissertation, the goals and objectives of the study, the scientific methods used, the forms of research and the expected results. The scientific research is aimed at developing comprehensive methods for determining organic compounds in environmental samples.
On the part of the teachers of the department and members of the scientific council, proposals and comments were made on the content, structure and scientific orientation of the research work. In particular, the need was noted to clearly link the topic of research with the direction of ecology, to strengthen the aspects of environmental impact assessment, as well as to supplement the scientific and methodological part of the dissertation. The doctoral student was given appropriate recommendations for improving the dissertation and concretizing the direction of research.
