A modern geology classroom has been opened
The opening ceremony of a new classroom, modernized in accordance with advanced educational standards in the field of geology, took place at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The new audience of geology and geoinformation systems is equipped in accordance with modern requirements. Gulbakhram Alimzhanova, a veteran of the industry, a graduate of the faculty in 1959, and an outstanding geological engineer, became a patron of the project, providing sponsorship in equipping the cabinet with the necessary technical means.
During the event, the participants emphasized Gulbakhram Mazhitovna's significant contribution to the development of Russian geological science. The speakers noted that this is a vivid example of the inseparable connection between the university and its graduates, a symbol of generational continuity and sincere concern for future education.
Aliya Aktymbaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, noted the strategic importance of the project in her welcoming speech: "The creation of the site opens up new horizons in science for students. It is a modern knowledge space where academic traditions are combined with innovation. I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone who supported this good initiative".
The updated classroom is equipped with interactive learning systems and specialized equipment in demand in the geological industry. The new technical base will allow students to effectively combine the study of theory with practical research, improving the quality of training for future specialists.
