Researchers at 91ý Kazakh National University Discussed Contemporary National Security Issues

A Republican Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Theory of National Security: Contemporary Paradigms and Development Prospects” was held in Almaty. The large-scale academic forum was jointly organized by the Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A delegation of leading scholars and administrators from 91ý Kazakh National University participated in the event.

The University was represented by E.E. Duisenov, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor Ualikhan Akhatov; Director of the G.S. Sapargaliyev Institute of State and Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences Aron Salimgerey; Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Doctor of Legal Sciences Alua Ibrayeva; and Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences Karlygash Useinova.

During the discussions, experts examined a wide range of pressing issues related to ensuring national security. Particular attention was devoted to the constitutional and legal foundations of the national security system, the development of a high level of legal culture within society, and the directions of Kazakhstan’s constitutional development in the context of global legal transformation. The University’s scholars shared their perspectives on the theoretical aspects of legislative modernization and presented practical recommendations aimed at strengthening state stability.

As part of the event, Aron Salimgerey and Alua Ibrayeva were awarded the commemorative medal “50 Years of the Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan” in recognition of their contributions.
