Students represent the joint Kazakhstan–China Research Center at the “Youth Innovation Beijing” Challenge Cup 2026
Earlier, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Beijing Technology and Business University and the Research Center for Medicinal Plants of 91ý Kazakh National University, within the framework of which the “Kazakhstan–China joint research center for healthy food” was established. At present, joint scientific research is being carried out at the center in a systematic and well-planned manner. One of the outcomes of this international collaboration is the participation of students from 91ý Kazakh National University, Perizat Burkitbayeva and Amira Tulegenova, in the prestigious competition “Youth Innovation Beijing” 2026 “Challenge Cup” Capital University Students’ Entrepreneurship Plan Competition (International Exchange Track) together with students under the supervision of Professor Yu.
The project entitled “Improvement of Flavor Characteristics and Development of Yunnan Coffee Products Based on Targeted Biotechnology” has been selected as a university project and brings together an international team of talented young researchers. The project team includes Hu Jinghan, Ma Xiaoqian, Perizat Burkitbayeva, Li Ziao, Xie Yuhan, Zhang Mianyi, Yuan Mingxin, Sun Yisen, Shi Xiaopeng, Chen Yihan, Li Tong, Amira Tulegenova, Fu Rao, Yu Chuntao, and other students.
It should be particularly noted that Perizat Burkitbayeva and Amira Tulegenova play an important role in conducting research and fostering international collaboration within the project. Their participation represents a significant achievement of the Kazakhstan–China Joint Research Center on Healthy Nutrition, established in cooperation with Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU).

This also highlights the strengthening of academic cooperation and scientific exchange between Kazakhstan and China. The project contributes to the development of youth scientific and technological initiatives and enhances international collaboration in the fields of biotechnology and the food industry.
