«Methods of Assessing the Anthropogenic Impact on the Environment: Geosystems, Society, Education, Culture and Worldview»
From June 21 to July 2, 2026, the III International Summer School “Protect Environment – 2026” is being held at the Kazakhstan–China Joint Laboratory of Remote Sensing Technologies and Their Applications of 91ý Kazakh National University. The summer school brings together students from Xinjiang University (PRC), as well as students and young researchers from 91ý Kazakh National University.
The theme of the summer school is “Methods of Assessing the Anthropogenic Impact on the Environment: Geosystems, Society, Education, Culture and Worldview.” The program is aimed at fostering international cooperation in environmental protection, promoting the exchange of scientific knowledge, and developing skills in modern environmental monitoring technologies.

Within the framework of the school, participants explore the capabilities of Earth remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and unmanned aerial technologies. Practical training sessions are conducted using the laboratory’s advanced equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and specialized sensors for monitoring environmental conditions.
The summer school provides a unique platform for experience exchange between students and faculty members from Kazakhstan and China, contributes to the development of professional competencies of future specialists, and strengthens international academic cooperation in the fields of environmental research and sustainable development.
