The Role of Technology and Education in Achieving Food Security
Young scientists of the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Bektileuova N.K. and Zhuniszhan A., organized a scientific seminar for students, master鈥檚 students, and doctoral students of the educational programs 鈥淏iotechnology,鈥� 鈥淢icrobiology,鈥� and 鈥淧ublic Health鈥� on the topic 鈥淭he Role of Technology and Education in Achieving Food Security.鈥� The seminar was dedicated to the globally relevant Sustainable Development Goal 2 鈥� 鈥淶ero Hunger.鈥�
The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of modern food security issues, to highlight the importance of technology and education as key factors in combating hunger, and to encourage students to actively participate in the development and implementation of sustainable solutions to ensure food security.
During the event, issues related to the rational use of food resources and the maintenance of their safety and quality were discussed. The young scientists of the department also shared their opinions and supplemented the presentations with comprehensive information on the topic.
