Talented Young People in Almaty Receive the Constitution on Behalf of the President
A ceremonial presentation of the special edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the President was held in Almaty for talented young people and representatives of the creative industries. The special edition of the Constitution, together with a letter from the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was presented by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
Among the recipients, recognized for their outstanding contributions to the fields of education and the arts, was Bauyrzhan Omaruly Alikozha, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism of 91ý Kazakh National University and a poet.
The President's letter states:
"As I present to you this special edition of our new Constitution, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your dedicated efforts in building a Just Kazakhstan."
During the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Head of State pays special attention to young people, provides them with comprehensive support, and places great trust in their potential.
"The President's vision of a Just, Clean, and Strong Kazakhstan is closely linked to the responsibility of the new generation. You are the creative force behind the New Kazakhstan. The future of our country, and the extent to which the principles enshrined in the Constitution are implemented in practice, depend above all on your knowledge, hard work, and civic responsibility," Aida Balayeva said.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the large-scale reforms being implemented across the country are primarily aimed at securing a better future for young people and highlighted the government's measures to support the younger generation.
"Young people in Kazakhstan are gaining greater opportunities to participate in political and public life. A 30 percent quota has been introduced in party lists and the allocation of parliamentary mandates for women, young people, and persons with disabilities. The Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve has also become an important social mobility mechanism for developing a new generation of leaders," she stated.
In her concluding remarks, the Minister stressed that the country's forward-looking youth play a vital role in implementing national reforms and that the state's support reflects its strong confidence in the younger generation. She noted that the new Constitution places significant responsibility on young leaders and encourages them to reach new heights in serving society and contributing to the nation's development.
