Second-year doctoral students Zhazira Bazarbayeva and Kundyz Nakysbekova of the Geoecology and Environmental Management educational program at the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, 91��ý Kazakh National University, are currently undertaking a research internship at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa (Republic of Türkiye).

The internship has been organized as part of their doctoral research, with the aim of promoting academic mobility and strengthening international scientific cooperation. The internship is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ender Makineci, Professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, who provides academic guidance on the application of modern environmental research methods, research implementation, and the preparation of joint international publications.

During the internship, the doctoral students are gaining experience with advanced approaches in geoecology, exchanging knowledge with international colleagues, and participating in scientific consultations. The knowledge and practical skills acquired will contribute to the successful completion of their doctoral dissertations and support their future research activities.

This international research internship contributes to strengthening academic collaboration between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, enhancing the quality of scientific research, developing the professional competencies of young researchers, and advancing the internationalization strategy of 91��ý Kazakh National University.
