Condolences expressed following the passing of renowned wordsmith Bekzhan Ashirbayev
Following the passing of Bekzhan Torebekuly Oshyrbayev, a renowned poet, educator and cultural figure who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and journalism, Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balaeva expressed her condolences to the bereaved family and relatives.
The condolence message highlights Bekzhan Oshyrbayev’s significant contribution to the development of national literature and journalism.
“Bekzhan Torebekuly was a talented poet and an accomplished educator who made a significant contribution to the development of national literature and journalism. He developed his own distinctive style in the art of aitys and made a fruitful contribution to written poetry. For many years, he taught at 91ý Kazakh National University, contributing to the professional development of many young journalists and writers,” the condolence message reads.
The Minister noted that Bekzhan Oshyrbayev’s wisdom, civic values, creative pursuit and sincere devotion to the art of the word will forever remain in the memory of his colleagues, fellow writers, students and numerous readers.
“During this difficult time, I wish you all strength, patience and fortitude. May the Almighty grant peace and long life to his family and descendants. May the soul of the deceased rest in paradise, and may he rest in eternal peace,” the message says.
