On January 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM, Visiting Professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies at 91��ý Kazakh National University and Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Film and Audiovisual Studies, Sorbonne Nouvelle University - Paris 3, Viktoria Vasilieva, will hold the third online research seminar on the topic: History and Art History: Similarities and Differences in Approaches to Image Analysis.

Questions:

• The image as an object of research: the specific perspectives of the art historian and the historian.
• What did it mean to "understand an image" in the history of the humanities?
• Elements of iconology in the work of a historian.
