External 72-hour Educational Programs within the Framework of SDG 4 – “Quality Education”

The Department of Information Systems successfully organized 72-hour free external educational programs within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education.” These programs were developed and implemented for a broad audience beyond the university campus and included components of the Sustainable Development Goals. The main purpose of the activities was to enhance participants’ professional competencies, support the acquisition of modern digital technologies, develop practical skills, and increase interest in the field of information technologies.

The external educational programs were aimed not only at university students, but also at school students, young professionals, and participants interested in the IT field. During the activities, topics such as improving digital literacy, the effective use of information systems, information security, artificial intelligence, and the application of deep learning technologies were discussed. These areas are directly related to SDG 4, as they contribute to expanding access to quality education and promoting a culture of lifelong learning.

From December 18 to 26, 2025, senior lecturer of the Department of Information Systems Sh. Maksutova conducted a 72-hour training activity on “IT Infrastructure Management and Security.” During the activity, participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge about modern IT infrastructure architecture, server and network system management, and methods of ensuring information security. Special attention was paid to network security, access management, data protection, the security of information resources, and the prevention of cyber threats.
