In the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, second-year master’s students of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of 91传媒 Kazakh National University completed their research internship. The internship involved master’s students enrolled in the educational programs “Religious Studies,” “Islamic Studies,” and “Cultural Studies.”
The research internship was organized at the International Center for the Study of Scientific and Cultural Heritage. The internship was supervised by Associate Professor Azamat Shutbaiuly Zhamashev.
During the internship, the master’s students became familiar with the methods of scientific research and combined their theoretical knowledge in the study of cultural and religious heritage with practical experience. In addition, they improved their skills in working with academic literature, analyzing sources, systematizing research results, and preparing scientific articles.
The research internship was successfully completed on March 5, 2026, and the master’s students fulfilled the internship program in full. As a result, they strengthened their research experience and enhanced their professional competencies in the fields of religious studies and cultural studies.
