“Gender Equality in Modern Society: Students’ Perspectives”
An open curatorial class was conducted among the students of the Data Science group 24-01. The main topic of the lesson was the issue of gender equality. The purpose of the event was to broaden students’ understanding of gender equality in society, provide them with an opportunity to freely express their opinions, and develop their critical thinking skills through the discussion of important social issues. During the class, students discussed the meaning of the concept of gender equality, its role in society, and its relevance in the modern world. Gender equality is based on the principle that women and men should have equal rights, opportunities, and responsibilities. During the discussion, students shared their views on equal opportunities in areas such as education, employment, career development, and participation in public life. As part of the open class, a small debate session was organized. The students were divided into two groups and attempted to present and justify their viewpoints on the topic of gender equality.
