Education Management: Contemporary Approaches and Practices
From 16 to 31 March 2026, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor Alua Berikbaykyzy Temirbolat and Bakhytkozha Baigozhaevich Bayazitov, organised and delivered a professional development course entitled “Education Management: Modern Approaches and Practices” for lecturers of the Faculty of Philology, in collaboration with the Institute of Professional Development at 91ý Kazakh National University.

Its aim was to develop the competencies in the field of educational process management, as well as the design and implementation of modern educational programmes, taking into account digitalisation, interdisciplinarity and the requirements of the academic environment. The course covered the theoretical foundations of educational management, issues relating to the management of the teaching process, research and project activities, and the possibilities and limitations of using artificial intelligence in the educational process.

The course participants included Acting Head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, Candidate of Philological Sciences S.D. Daribaev, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor S.B. Yerzhanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor L.A. Mekebaeva, PhD, Acting Associate Professor G.T. Ospanova. During the sessions, they asked questions, shared their experiences, and actively discussed the modern system of education management. The relevance, theoretical and practical significance of this course were highlighted.
