Scientific and cultural integration is being strengthened
Member of the Board, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities Margulan Ibraimov met with a delegation from the Haji Bektash Veli Center for Turkish Culture and Research at Al–Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of joint scientific and educational projects, expanding the exchange of experience between teachers and students, as well as strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey. Vice Rector M.Ibraimov focused on the international prestige of the university, noting that KazNU is among the Top 200 best universities in the world according to the QS WUR global ranking and maintains close partnership with leading universities in Turkiye.

During the negotiations, special attention was paid to the activities of the KazNU branch in Istanbul, which was opened in 2022 as part of the official visit of the Head of State to Turkiye. Today, this division is an important platform for the integration of science and education, as well as the joint implementation of large-scale projects.

In turn, representatives of the delegation, including Sabdullah Gulten, editor-in-chief of the turk Kültürü ve hacı Bektaş veli araştırma dergisi magazine, suggested concrete steps to deepen cooperation.

The parties reached an agreement on the preparation of joint scientific publications, the launch of research projects, as well as the holding of international seminars and workshops with the participation of leading experts.
