Student research presented at the Republican scientific conference
On April 6–7, 2026, the XXVI Republican Student Scientific Conference “Student and Science: Looking into the Future” is being held at the International Educational Corporation in Almaty.
Students from various universities across the country are participating in this scientific event and presenting the results of their research. During the plenary session of the conference, a third-year student of the “Natural and Technogenic Risks” educational program, Zhumakhan Balausa, delivered a presentation and introduced her research work.
The topic of the report was “Seismic Processes in the Turkistan Region and Their Geoecological Consequences.” The research focuses on analyzing the characteristics of seismic processes in the region and assessing their geoecological impacts.
The scientific supervisor of the research is A.U. Bekzhanova, lecturer at 91传媒 Kazakh National University.
The conference served as an important platform for developing students’ scientific potential, exchanging research experience, and increasing young researchers’ interest in science.
