SDG №3, 4, 10: An inclusive board games tournament was held at 91ý Kazakh National University

The tournament was organized by the Public Foundation “Center for Social Inclusive Programs,” the Balalaroom board sports club, and the inclusive media platform DeFactoFm.

The main goal of the championship is to show that sports, communication, and the joy of playing are accessible to everyone.

Board sports games are a special type of activity that brings together people with different physical abilities around one table. They allow participants to experience competitive spirit, develop strategic thinking, and, most importantly, foster genuine human interaction.

The organizers believe that such events contribute to building an equal-opportunity society where everyone can express themselves, make new friends, and feel part of a large and strong team.

According to the organizers, in the future the championship may become an international platform for sharing experience. The project is expected to expand and increase its social impact by involving foreign experts and partners.

In addition, alongside the championship, systematic work is being carried out to teach schoolchildren board games and develop their cognitive skills. The classes are held at the BALALAROOM club in Almaty. These training sessions are aimed not only at sporting results but also at children’s socialization, strengthening team spirit, and fostering a culture of active leisure.

This initiative opens up new opportunities for developing an inclusive environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle among all segments of the population.
