A competition of student startup projects was held
A competition of student innovative startup projects was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the International Farabi Forum.
This event was organized by the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industry of the educational institution.
The main goal is to identify the best student business ideas and support their development from the idea to the stage of commercialization. In addition, the initiative aims to increase the entrepreneurial activity of students, identify professional orientation and promote the creation of new jobs.
This year, 65 innovative projects were presented at the exhibition, of which the best were selected. As a result, 6 projects were recognized as winners.
According to the results of the competition, Samson Davit, a student of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, took the first place. The young researcher has developed the project "iLearn – a proactive AI decision support system for educational achievement".
The second place was taken by the project "Medical humanoid robot assistant controlled by the MedAssist exosuit", prepared by Yernar Zholdasov, Bauyrzhan Sailauov and Meir Sraevich. The second place was also taken by the project of Timur Yerlanov and Anna Shmonina on the topic "Laminaser – an optical system for operational stability control of medicines".
The third place was taken by the projects of Nafiz Mokerram, Ayim Serikbayeva and Kuralai Ongarova, as well as Amina Bekbolatovna.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes.
