Doctoral students in the pedagogical field conducted an open educational session on “Responsible Consumption”
On April 1, 2026 1st-year doctoral students of the 8D01102 – Pedagogy. Management in Education program, A.K. Tulegenov and S.M. Gabdul-Muttalip, held an open session on “SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption” within the framework of their pedagogical practice in Classroom 606 of the No. 3 academic building of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University.
The event was conducted with the first-year students of the 6B03201 – Library Science program.
The aim of the open session was to cultivate a culture of responsible consumption and to foster ecological and social responsibility among students.
During the session, participants carried out group activities on topics such as overconsumption, plastic waste, food waste, and saving water and energy, and shared their ideas.
Students demonstrated high engagement, actively participated in discussions, and showed critical thinking and independent decision-making skills.
This open educational session positively contributed to the development of students’ ecological culture and the practical application of sustainable development principles in daily life.
