Issues of Academic Mobility and Joint Research Were Discussed During the International Meeting
On May 22, a working meeting was held between Nurzhan Baltazhanovna Saparbayeva, PhD of the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of 91ý Kazakh National University, and Svetlana Ivanovna Piskunova, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University.
During the meeting, the participants thoroughly discussed the prospects for developing bilateral academic and scientific cooperation between the faculties. Particular attention was paid to the training of joint doctoral students, the organization of academic mobility programs for students and faculty members, as well as the exchange of scientific and educational experience in the fields of Oriental Studies, Chinese Studies, and foreign languages.
The parties also discussed opportunities for implementing joint research projects and participating in international conferences, scientific seminars, and round-table discussions. In addition, issues related to the preparation and publication of joint scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Scopus database, as well as in other academic journals, were addressed. The discussion also covered prospects for expanding interuniversity cooperation in scientific research, exchanging methodological materials, and organizing joint educational events.
During the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of strengthening international scientific ties, developing partnership relations between the departments, and expanding cooperation in the fields of education and science. Following the negotiations, both sides expressed their interest in further collaboration and in implementing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of scientific research and the training of young researchers.
