The Transformation of National History and State Ideology in the Age of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence

In 2026, 91ý Kazakh National University hosted the International Scientific and Methodological Conference entitled “The Transformation of National History and State Ideology in the Era of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence,” organized by the Faculty of Pre-University Education.

 

 

 

 

The conference brought together leading scholars, experts, doctoral students, and young researchers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan. The event provided a platform for discussing the interaction between historical scholarship and modern technologies, including the application of artificial intelligence in historical research and education, the digitization of historical heritage, the preservation of archival collections through innovative technologies, and the transformation of national identity in the context of the digital age. The conference was officially opened by Dean A.A. Bektanov, who emphasized the continuity of national values in the process of digital modernization. During the plenary session and sectional meetings, participants presented their research findings, exchanged views on the role of digital technologies in historical studies, and discussed effective strategies for integrating technological innovations into the educational process.

 

 

 

Particular attention was devoted to the exchange of academic experience and the exploration of new methodological approaches in historical research. Participants noted that the intersection of history and technology creates new opportunities for scholarly inquiry and contributes to the advancement of international academic cooperation.

 

 

 

 

At the conclusion of the conference, participants were awarded certificates, and an official resolution containing scientific and methodological recommendations was adopted. The event made a significant contribution to the development of contemporary approaches to the study and promotion of national history, the enhancement of the research potential of young scholars, and the strengthening of international academic partnerships.
